Abstract. The modern education system in the Russian Federation is being actively transformed. This is caused by a deep crisis in the economic, social and cultural development of the human community and the understanding that contradictions arising in relations between countries and peoples can and should be resolved on the basis of humanistic principles of interaction. In this regard, the issues of increasing conflict-related literacy of the population are becoming relevant, which can be achieved through the special work of educational institutions with different categories of the population and, first of all, with the younger generation. The leading role in terms of educating schoolchildren and their development of conflict technologies is played by special educational activities, which students of pedagogical universities should participate in. Such work on the development of knowledge, personal, motivational and activity components creates pedagogical conditions for the formation of future teachers’ willingness to interact with students and resolve conflicts between them. The conducted diagnostic study allows us to conclude that future teachers are not sufficiently prepared to resolve conflicts among high school students and that they need to work with them according to a specially developed program based on legislative regulations (Federal Law No. 273-FZ of December 29, 2012 (ed. Dated 08/03/2018) “On education in the Russian Federation”. The task of teachers is to identify potential sources of tension, diagnose, find optimal solutions for all parties, as well as conflict prevention, which is an important part of the professional competence of modern teachers.

Keywords: conflictological literacy, conflicts between high school students, readiness of university graduates, components of readiness.
