THE CONCEPT OF MEDIA-ORIENTED APPROACH IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract. The article considers the key aspects that determine the relevance of the topic related to the transformation and modernization of professional training of university students. The author notes that the active use of the term “information” and its derivatives in the educational environment contributes to the formation of a digital media environment, which is becoming a key component of the global information space. In this regard, the modern system of higher education faces the need for in-depth scientific research aimed at developing and validating innovative methodological approaches to professional training of future specialists, which can ensure a high level of professional competence of graduates of the University. Innovative methodological strategies are based on interdisciplinary interaction, taking into account current trends in the field of educational technologies, pedagogy and psychology. The article defines the stages of development of the media-oriented educational paradigm, its structure, and content, which has become a methodological basis for the transformation and modernization of professional training of university students. The media-oriented approach is presented as a methodological component of the media-oriented educational paradigm. It allows you to search for adequate and effective conditions, mechanisms, and tools for managing the interaction of participants in the educational process. The article highlights the importance of developing the problem of conceptual justification of the media-oriented approach. The author provides a philosophical and methodological substantiation of the structure and content of the media-oriented approach. It is based on the idea of a value-oriented orientation that has defined the value system, mission and strategy for the transformation and modernization of professional training of university students in the context of digital transformation of education. The article describes a set of system-forming principles of the approach, methods aimed at solving the problem of transformation and modernization of professional training of university students. The educational result is formulated. A number of potential risks associated with possible shortcomings of the concept and ways to minimize them are identified. The author concludes that the concept of media-oriented approach is an innovative educational paradigm associated with the transformation and modernization of professional training of university students.
