Abstract. The article is devoted to the urgent problem of preparing future linguists-translators for oral interlanguage interaction. The research is aimed at analyzing and identifying pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective formation of future specialists’ readiness for oral interlanguage interaction. The author considers oral interlanguage interaction as an interactive process aimed at solving translation problems in the context of socio-cultural interaction. The purpose of the article is to develop and substantiate pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of future translators’ readiness for effective oral interlanguage interaction, including increasing motivation and developing professional and personal qualities of the translator, mastering linguistic and cultural knowledge and the specifics of their application in the course of building interaction between communicants. The novelty of the research lies in the theoretical substantiation, development and characterization of the process of implementing pedagogical conditions for the formation of the readiness of future linguists-translators for oral interlanguage interaction. The research is based on an analysis of existing scientific developments, including in the field of linguodidactics and translation training, a comparison of various pedagogical approaches to the training of translators, which allows the author, using synthesis and generalization methods, to develop a set of pedagogical conditions for the formation of readiness for oral interlanguage interaction. The research methodology includes systematic and integrated approaches, which makes it possible to identify those necessary and sufficient pedagogical influences that will allow future linguists and translators to consistently and successively form each of the components of readiness for oral interlanguage interaction on a systematic basis throughout the entire period of professional training. The paper provides the author’s definition of pedagogical conditions in the context of the preparation of future linguists-translators for oral interlanguage interaction. The article describes in detail the mechanisms and pedagogical tools for implementing each of the identified conditions, provides examples of educational tasks and the teaching methods and technologies used. The results of the study are of practical importance for higher school teachers involved in the training of linguists and translators. The work opens up prospects for further research in the development and adaptation of innovative methods and technologies in the training of specialists in the field of linguistics and translation.
