Abstract. The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and development of pedagogical conditions that ensure the formation of future TV journalists’ readiness for project activities. The conducted research is due to significant changes in modern television journalism related to the increasing influence of the media on solving socially significant problems, the transformation of media consumption, the development of digital technologies and the accumulation of most of the production tasks of a television journalist in the format of a media project. In this regard, there is a need to prepare future TV journalists for project activities, which include the ability to plan, develop, organize and implement media projects, working mainly in a media group. The formation of readiness for project activities among television journalism students within the framework of their professional education requires the identification of a set of pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of this process. Our previous research has revealed a significant interest of practical teachers in using the design method in the training of modern television journalists, however, there are no developments in the systematic organization of the process of formation of future television journalists’ readiness for project activities in pedagogical science and educational practice. The purpose of this study is to substantiate and develop a set of pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective formation of future TV journalists’ readiness for project activities. The methodology is based on the leading positions of systematic, personality-oriented, practice-oriented and project-based approaches, as well as methods of analysis, synthesis, study and generalization of advanced pedagogical experience. The conclusions emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to preparing future TV journalists for project activities, using the project method of teaching and learning in groups (teams) as leaders. The obtained research results will improve the quality of training of future TV journalists and increase their competitiveness in the media market.

Keywords: future TV journalists, readiness for project activities, pedagogical conditions, media project, project method, teamwork, motivating educational environment.
