Abstract. The ability of a manager to see the development prospects of an organization is a key aspect of his managerial competence. In the modern world, the education system strives to provide high-quality training, and one of the essential factors in achieving this goal is the integration of a competency-based approach to management into the educational process. The development of managerial skills is becoming a current trend aimed at improving the professional level and competitiveness of specialists in the labor market. Such specialists must be flexible, proactive, responsible and able to effectively organize their work and the work of the team. Thanks to the possession of managerial skills, a specialist turns into an independent participant in professional activity who can apply his knowledge and skills in practice. He knows how to cope with failures, remain calm in extreme situations, competently and responsibly approach the organization of the educational process in an educational institution. The BusinessChain platform provides project planning and support, since here student teams can plan their tasks, learn to maintain project documentation, communicate with mentors and specialists. All actions of the participants are recorded, forming a “digital trace” of each, which allows for an open and objective assessment of the contribution to the overall result and tracking the progress of mastering competencies. In general, the article is devoted to the problem of forming management competencies in students of higher educational institutions using end-to-end project activities in a digital educational environment. With a justification of theoretical and methodological approaches to the problem – competence, systemic, environmental. The author presents a structural and functional model and an algorithm for organizing project activities. The results of experimental testing of the model are illustrated using the example of two universities, confirming its effectiveness.
