Abstract. The formation of a person’s personality capable of self-realization and active participation in the life of society is impossible without his harmonious physical, mental and mental development. As a result, a person becomes ready for intellectual, spiritual, moral, creative, physical and professional development, satisfaction of their needs and interests. However, this does not happen instantly: a person must go a long way from birth to acquiring competencies sufficient for various spheres of public life. Factors influencing the formation of attitudes towards the outside world: sensory experience; communication and interaction: interaction with parents and other significant people in a child’s life; emotional experience; cognitive development; social environment. What is particularly interesting here is the child’s perception of the world around him during the transition from purely physiological reactions, through the emergence of basic social and psychological attitudes, to the formation of his behavior model. Based on the theoretical analysis, a model is proposed for the formation of the child’s initial attitude to the world around him. Based on the presented model, it can be argued that in the normal physiological state of the child’s sensory organs, his perception of the world around him, which is not realized at the initial stage of development, is formed as conditionally “openness” or conditionally “rejection” at the level of instinct, which subsequently affects the formation of his behavior model. In turn, his intellectual and physiological abilities determine the goals he sets for himself and the actions he needs to take. In order for these goals to be achieved, a set of specific factors and conditions is needed. If all these elements are congruent with each other, then with a high degree of probability the result will be positive, which will strengthen the child’s self-confidence and will contribute to the development of a confident behavior model. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that the formation of a behavior model that will contribute to the effective socialization of a child in society, his harmonious physical, mental and mental development with an appropriate approach is a controlled process.
