PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF FORMATION OF SOCIAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS

Abstract. Rapid technological development changes the ways of human communication and interaction in society, which negatively affects the quality social connections, worsens psycho-emotional and social health. In this regard, the study of the problem of forming an individual’s social health is of particular relevance. The article is devoted to the study of pedagogical conditions for forming students’ social health at a university. The methodological basis of the study was formed by systemic, activity-based and personality-oriented approaches and principles of integrity, interdependence, feedback, hierarchy, self-actualization and subjectivity, which play a key role in forming students’ social health. Based on these approaches and principles, pedagogical conditions for forming social health were identified, including: involving students in socially significant activities; developing social skills in academic and extracurricular activities through organizing group work; individual work with students and psychological counseling; stimulating physical activity, ; creating a favorable socio-psychological climate in the team; improving the qualifications of teachers in the field of psychology of interpersonal relations. The implementation of these conditions in the educational process ensures the improvement of communication skills, an increase in the level of adaptation, the development of social maturity, responsibility of students, allows creating a more comfortable and favorable atmosphere, which generally contributes to an increase in overall satisfaction with the educational process. The research materials allow optimizing approaches to organizing the educational process and extracurricular activities, creating conditions for more effective social integration of students, improving their psycho-emotional state and increasing the level of involvement in public life.
