Abstract. In modern conditions of geopolitical, ideological and economic confrontation with the West in front of the Russian state One of the main tasks is to preserve moral, spiritual, and ideological values that are based on traditional Russian culture. Russian dance is one of the traditional components of Russian culture that have been formed for thousands of years. Today, American and Western European rituals are being replaced by American and Western European rituals, and values and meanings are being replaced by those that are not typical of our mentality [8, с. 23]. These processes are even more acutely felt in historical territories where Russian was previously completely exterminated. culture. Therefore, development is becoming particularly relevant today. effective methods and methods of education and formation of Russian dance culture among young people, in particular students, who will further pass on their knowledge, values and experience to the younger generation. Russian dance, as an integral part of Russian dance culture, is intended to become a means to promote the spiritual and moral mobilization of Russian society. The article substantiates the idea of developing and implementing a professional training system choreographers of the system of pedagogical support for the formation of Russian dance culture, which will contribute to the harmonious development of a creative personality, systematization of knowledge, establishment of connections in a professional environment, acquisition and strengthening of professional skills, creation of a unique artistic style and development of artistic expression, preservation of cultural heritage. Theoretical aspects, in particular methodological approaches to the problem of the formation of Russian dance culture, are considered and substantiated. The results of a survey of students of educational institutions are presented. organizations of Melitopol, Lugansk, Donetsk, Kherson, confirming the relevance of the research problem.
