Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of formation of creative thinking of students – future teachers of comprehensive schools as an important task in the modern educational process, where innovative technologies and approaches are developing rapidly. The relevance of this study is justified by the need to develop the most significant aspects of the development and development of creative thinking of students – future teachers in the context of professional pedagogical training, since not all mechanisms for improving the designated process are sufficiently developed in the context of the introduction of innovative educational technologies. The author of the article analyzes a large number of scientific sources on the problem of providing the educational process of the university with the necessary conditions for mastering the ability to non-standard thinking, readiness to find original solutions in various situations. In the article, creative thinking is presented as the ability to analyze a problem from different points of view and find previously unknown approaches to solving them, go beyond the usual stencils. Some researchers often consider the concepts of “creativity” and “creation” to be synonyms. However, based on the theoretical analysis of pedagogical research, the article distinguishes between these definitions: creativity is presented as an internal resource of the individual, and creativity is considered as a derivative of creativity that contributes to the creation of an educational product. In the article, the author puts forward the thesis that the formation of creative thinking in students – future teachers is facilitated by the use of non-standard forms and methods of teaching, innovative technologies in the educational process that contribute to the generation of new ideas, the search for and application of original solutions not only educational, but also vital problems.
