PEDAGOGICAL OLYMPIAD AS AN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF CONDUCTING A PEDAGOGICAL OLYMPIAD ON THE FORMATION OF FAMILY VALUES AMONG STUDENTS)

Abstract. The relevance of the article is due to the increasing requirements for teacher training, as well as the search for new forms of student education that combine the best pedagogical experience with modern educational opportunities, including the use of information and computer technologies. The Pedagogical Olympiad is one of the forms of extracurricular work of students of pedagogical universities. Olympiads in pedagogy allow students to develop knowledge and skills in the field of education, deepen their understanding of pedagogical theories and practices, improve critical thinking and analytical abilities. In addition, modern pedagogical Olympiads make it possible to integrate and disseminate pedagogical ideas that can be in demand in the real pedagogical process both by the participants themselves in subsequent professional activities, and by established teachers, as well as students-future teachers. The article describes the types of pedagogical Olympiads, variants of Olympiad tasks, features of the organization and conduct of the pedagogical Olympiad as an educational technology, shows the experience of organizing and conducting a distance pedagogical Olympiad on the formation of family values among students-future teachers. The purpose of the work is to describe the essential characteristics of the distance pedagogical Olympiad as an educational technology that creates conditions for the personal and professional development of students–future teachers, using the example of the 2nd All-Russian distance Student Olympiad in Pedagogy with international participation, held at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University. The theoretical justification of the Olympiad on the formation of a value attitude to the family among students is given, the stage-by-stage preparation and conduct of the Olympiad, options for remote Olympiad tasks are presented, the analysis of the Olympiad tasks performed by students is carried out, which shows the relevance of the remote Olympiad in pedagogy as an important element of training students-future teachers, helping to become competent and effective specialists in their field.
