Abstract. In the modern world, where globalization and digitalization are becoming increasingly important factors in life, it is important to pay attention to the formation of a sense of patriotism and love for their country in children. One of the effective methods for achieving this goal is to conduct excursions for schoolchildren. Excursions allow children not only to get acquainted with the nature of their native land, but also to learn more about its history, culture and traditions. This helps them better understand their connection with the Motherland and realize the importance of preserving its natural resources. Today, it is especially important to focus on patriotic education and studying their roots. Excursions can be an excellent tool for achieving these goals. They help children see the beauty and uniqueness of their country, as well as feel pride in it. In addition, excursions contribute to the development of curiosity and interest in the world around them. Children begin to ask questions, look for answers and independently explore new places. This contributes to their intellectual and emotional development. This study lists the basic rules that must be followed during excursions. The main methods of conducting excursions for school-age children are considered. Examples of an excursion route around Ufa (Republic of Bashkortostan) are given. The main aspects of forming patriotic education in schoolchildren are also considered using examples of objects and attractions. At the end of the study, the connection between excursions and forming love for nature in schoolchildren is considered. The Republic of Bashkortostan is a territory with rich natural resources. Excursions are an excellent tool for instilling in schoolchildren a respectful and careful attitude towards nature and its resources.
