THE SPECIFICS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALISTS IN CORPORATE EDUCATION

Abstract. This article examines the concept of corporate English language teaching as a relatively new phenomenon of the educational trajectory, determines the choice of topics, the content of educational programs in accordance with the specifics of the work of information systems specialists within the corporate activities of the company. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of corporate training for an adult information systems specialist who combines a work and learning environment. The novelty of this work is the combination of the working environment of information systems specialists and the development of precisely those content-structural components of the training program that will display in the most detail the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities of adult specialists. Methodological aspects are a separate element in the discussion of this specificity of teaching information systems specialists a foreign language within the framework of corporate training.  Due to the non-standard nature of the above-mentioned topics, we focused on methodological recommendations for teaching a foreign language to information systems specialists, which include elements of the content and structural component of training, as well as the training schedule of corporate employees in order to ensure the most effective interaction between a foreign language teacher and the specialist himself. As a result of the analysis of training programs for information systems specialists, certain content features were identified, as well as important points affecting the course of teaching a foreign language to adult specialists. These research results can be applied in practice for teaching adult specialists not only in the framework of corporate training or additional professional education, but also in higher educational institutions in foreign language classes among specialists of technical specialties for whom English is a non-core subject, but at the same time serves as the language of business communication in the workplace.
