ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF SWIMMING TRAINING FOR APPLICANTS OF DIFFERENT FORMS OF EDUCATION OF THE FACULTY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE OF THE NOVOSIBIRSK STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY IN 2022

Abstract. Introduction. The importance of training qualified specialists in physical culture is always given great attention by the state. The unfavorable statistics of accidents on the water require great attention to the formation of vital swimming skills in the younger generation. It is very important to train qualified physical education specialists who not only know how to swim themselves and can provide first aid in case of drowning, but can also competently build swimming classes in all age groups. The purpose of the study is to study the indicators of entrance tests in swimming for applicants of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University of the Faculty of Physical Culture. Materials and methods. The article presents an analysis of swimming training (swimming time at a distance of 50 meters freestyle) of applicants of different forms of education entering the profile “physical culture” Faculty of Physical Culture of Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, taking into account gender and age characteristics. A comparative analysis of the indicators of swimming readiness by the results of the standards of the complex “Ready for work and defense” was carried out in order to correct the educational process in the subject “Swimming” for students of higher educational institutions. The results and their discussion. As a result of the study, it was shown that applicants entering full-time education have a significantly lower age, as well as a significantly shorter time to overcome the 50-meter freestyle distance than their peers entering part-time education. Gender and age differences were found: from 18 to 24 years of age in women and from 18 to 29 years of age in men, an increase in the indicator of physical fitness is noted, after 25 years of age in women and 30 years of age in men, a decrease in this indicator. The data obtained can be used to build and correct the educational process of swimming for students of higher educational institutions.
