PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF HIGHER SCHOOL IN FORMATION LEADERSHIP QUALITIES OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Abstract. Recently, a lot has been said and written about the importance of educational work in universities. Conversations about the significant role of the educational process in the development of a competent specialist and improving the quality of education have become very large-scale, the topic has been raised to a qualitatively new level. In addition, in the conditions of modern society, success in the professional activities of a university teacher is determined not only by the presence of certain theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but also by how effectively he communicates and demonstrates his leadership qualities. Building leadership skills is a key aspect of successful leadership in the modern world. Leaders play an important role in various walks of life, including business, politics, education and society at large. They not only guide the actions of their teams, but also inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals. However, becoming a leader does not happen right away – it is a process that includes the development of certain skills, characteristics and qualities. The article is devoted to the study of the pedagogical potential of the educational space of higher education in the formation of leadership qualities of future teachers. The author is based on the value-semantic paradigm of education and a set of scientific approaches, namely: acmeological, competence-based, personality-oriented, activity-based, environmental, subject-subject. The educational space of a university is interpreted as a set of conditions and opportunities in the formation of values, personal qualities and social skills of students in the process of educational activities, which is organized as a specially modeled sequence of events, promotes their self-development and self-improvement through inclusion in various types of socially significant activities. The author sees the pedagogical potential of the educational space of higher education in the formation of leadership qualities of future teachers in the subject-subject interaction of all participants in the educational space, the involvement of future teachers in various types of professional activities, mentoring support for students in the process of cultivating a leadership position at the bottom.
