INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE SYSTEM FOR FORMING DIGITAL COMPETENCIES OF SOCIAL SPHERE SPECIALIST

Abstract. The process of informatization that accompanies the formation of a digital society is a global social phenomenon, the basis of which is information interaction using modern technologies and computer equipment. Information technologies are becoming an integral part of the technological processes of most types of human activity. Their constant complication, the tendency towards automation, machine optimization, and the use of artificial intelligence systems leads to the need to increase the requirements for the level of training of professional personnel. The changes also affect the social sphere, whose specialists must have developed skills and competencies in the field of information interaction when solving complex social problems. Domain professionals are also required to develop their capabilities, fulfill their current responsibilities, and acquire new skills to adapt to digital transformation. The article is devoted to the study of the role and place of information technologies in the training of specialists in the social sphere, and the analysis of the basic, intermediate and advanced digital competencies formed during this process. As part of the study, a comparative analysis of the list of key competencies of the digital economy, approved within the framework of the federal project “Personnel for the Digital Economy”, and competencies from the list of federal state educational standards of higher education, formed in the study of information technologies according to the curriculum in the direction of training 03/39/02, was carried out. Social Work” from Pacific State University. It is noted that the number of relevant specialized disciplines and hours for their development is often insufficient for students studying social sciences to be able to fully use digital tools in a professional environment. At the same time, the labor market requires professionals with developed digital skills and a high level of knowledge of information technology.
