Abstract. The article is devoted to substantiating the essence and content of students’ social health based on the analysis of various approaches to this issue, which significantly complement and expand the pedagogical potential of students’ social health as a condition for their adaptation in the social environment. On the basis of a survey and a survey of university teachers and students, it was revealed that for the successful implementation of the process of forming students’ social health, as well as physical, mental and somatic health, physical culture is the most significant means. On the example of gaming activity, the author reveals the significant role of physical culture and sports in improving the social health of students as an important component of their future professional activities. In the article, the author proves the thesis that in the modern information society, when the younger generation leads a sedentary lifestyle, it is necessary to make the most of a variety of outdoor games in physical education and sports classes, aimed at developing initiative, independence, discipline, confidence, perseverance, mental reactions, endurance, etc., which together determine the success of the process of improving and maintaining the social health of students – future specialists, which provides students with the opportunity to understand, explain and independently make decisions about important problems. The formation of students’ social health, as a complex multi-level education, based on gaming technologies, is the inclusion of students in the gaming simulation of the studied social, personally significant phenomena, their experience in gaming activities, the solution of educational and professionally oriented tasks based on the construction of various problem situations.
