Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of modern trends in the socialization of preschool children with disabilities. As you know, children with disabilities are one of the most vulnerable social groups in our country. The social and living conditions of the population have a significant impact on the growth of child disability, which suggests that the chosen topic is more of a social nature. The activity and content of the state social policy in relation to children with disabilities is directly related to the strategy of the country’s economic and social development, as well as its financial capabilities. In connection with the current economic and social situation in our country, the development and implementation of a unified program for providing children with disabilities with adequate and timely assistance is of particular relevance. This will allow them to fully integrate into society, socialize and feel like full-fledged members of society. It is also important to note that due to the lack of special devices, for example, such as ramps, special elevators, children with disabilities do not always have the opportunity to get into some institutions, including enrolling in kindergartens, secondary schools and higher educational institutions. In this regard, problems arise for their successful socialization, employment and inclusion in public life as full-fledged members. Based on the listed tasks related to the socialization of children with disabilities, the author of the article proposes a partial solution to the problem through physical culture and recreation activities, since it contributes to the successful development of the intellectual sphere, strengthening physical health and normalizing the emotional and mental state.

Keywords: socialization of disabled children, inclusive environment, physical culture and recreation activities, social policy, strengthening of physical health.
