PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS DEMOGRAPHY OF ECONOMIC SUBJECTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the development of business demography of economic entities. The purpose of this article is to consider the perspective direction of statistics – business demography. For writing the article the data of official statistics, materials of periodicals, textbooks and manuals of domestic and foreign authors are used. Analytical and synthetic methods were used in the study. When analyzing the business demography of economic entities, the birth rate and official liquidation coefficients are considered; the forms of formation of economic entities are studied; the distribution of forms of transformation of economic entities by types of economic activity is considered. The article analyzes the birth rate and liquidation rate; the growth rate per 1000 organizations; the number of registered economic entities; methods of registration of economic entities; the distribution of forms of formation of economic entities; the distribution of forms of formation of economic entities. According to the results of the analysis of business demography, it is concluded that in Russia over the past ten years there has been a decrease in the growth rate of economic entities, the formation of enterprises was mainly in the form of allocation, the share of which in all periods amounted to more than 65%; the reorganization of legal entities took place in retail trade – more than 20% over the past 10 years. In second place in the frequency of formed enterprises as a result of the transformation is agriculture, which is characterized by more than 15% of new enterprises. The results of the analysis made it possible to note that the development of business demography is a promising area of modern statistics, the role of which is to identify the relationship between the business climate and the demography of economic entities to develop recommendations for improving the business environment. It is expected that the data obtained will allow to identify additional promising opportunities for management decision-making.
