ALGORITHM OF THE DIDACTIC CONDITIONS IMPLEMENTATION OF FORMATION OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ COGNITIVE INDEPENDENCE IN THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING PROCESS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the formation of technical university students’ cognitive independence in the foreign language learning process. The underestimation of the role and importance of cognitive independence leads to personal and professional deformations in the modern world of informatization and globalization. The didactic conditions ensuring the formation of cognitive independence are identified; they should be created by a technical university teacher during a foreign language lesson. The means, methods, and forms of cognitive independence formation are allocated. The purpose of this article is to substantiate the algorithm for the phased implementation of the didactic conditions for the formation of technical university students’ cognitive independence in the foreign language learning process. The results of the study can be applied by the teaching staff in the process of technical baccalaureate training, in the foreign language teaching, for the specialized courses development, in supervising of graduate qualification works and masters theses, in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education.
