FORMATION OF THE METHODICAL COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE TEACHER OF TECHNOLOGY ON THE BASIS OF INTEGRATION OF THE CONTENT OF PROFESSIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION

Annotation. This article examines the specifics of implementing a competence approach in the preparation of a technology teacher using the integration of the content of teacher education. The author believes that one of the main contradictions at the present stage of development of higher pedagogical education remains the contradiction between the integrative character of the teacher’s professional and pedagogical activity and the existing subject system of its preparation, which prevails in the national higher pedagogical school. The resolution of this contradiction in the process of professional training of the future technology teacher in general, and especially the psychological and pedagogical component of it, is possible with the integration of the content of educational disciplines. Thus, the integration of psychological and pedagogical disciplines is one of the most important conditions for the effective preparation of a technology teacher, the formation of his methodological competence.
