 Abstract. The article is devoted to uncovering the essence of pedagogical support, ongoing process of formation of managerial competence of personnel of small business in the further training system. On the basis of the analysis of the prevailing conditions in pedagogical science theoretical approaches to understanding essence of pedagogical support, the essence and content of pedagogical support management competence formation personnel small businesses, which is an integral part of the process of formation of managerial competence system small business personnel training. Factors that significantly influenced the formation of the managerial competence of small business personnel in the system of professional development were revealed. External: the development and accessibility of a system of professional development for the staff of small businesses; experience and authority of the educational institution; the relevance of training programs, their accessibility; provision of the system with qualified pedagogical personnel, their professional readiness to implement programs to create managerial competencies of small business personnel; effectiveness and effectiveness of pedagogical support. Domestic: high qualification and professionalism of small business personnel; predisposition to managerial activity, motivation and aspiration to growth as a manager; ability to predict possible problems in management, understand the essence of the difficulties arising in the learning process and the willingness to overcome them on their own; motivation and activity in training; contact with the subject of support.
