Annotation. The article refers to the problem of developing students’ personalities and forming their critical thinking in the educational process of professional training. On the basis of the analysis of pedagogical and psychological approaches to individual education the authors considers the steps of forming critical thinking and prove its role in the development of personal features of a student.
