The development of information and telecommunication technologies observed today, the active informatization of the education system in the information sphere leads to the need to increase information competence in the field of application of information technologies in the field of professional activity. Taking into account the above factors, this problem is very urgent for graduates of military institutes. One of the most promising means of forming the information competence of graduates of military educational institutions of higher education is the electronic educational resources of military universities, which can effectively influence the process of forming the information competence of students. Based on the analysis of the complex of problems of using electronic educational resources in the process of training cadets of graduates of the Perm Military Institute of the Russian Guard, as well as assessing the level of their information competence in the field of professional activity, the author concluded that it is necessary to create a criterion-evaluating apparatus to assess the effectiveness of an innovative model of electronic educational resources as a means of forming information competence of graduates of military universities in the field of using information technologies in service and combat activities. Based on the research results, the assessment of the effectiveness of ESM as a means of increasing the information competence of Rosgvardia officers is a comprehensive indicator of the effectiveness of electronic educational resources in the learning process, as well as the level of formation of information competence in the use of information technologies in professional activities. Thus, a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of electronic educational resources as a means of increasing the level of formation of the IT competence of graduates of Rosgvardia universities, in accordance with the hypothesis of the author’s research, is made on the basis of a set of assessments of the level of formation of the information competence of graduate cadets and the level of quality of electronic educational resources of a military institute.
