Abstract. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation in students of a value-based attitude to their health, physical education and sports, aerobic and anaerobic exercise based on fitness and health motivation. The problem of the formation of the young generation’s motivation for physical education and sports, a healthy lifestyle, and a moral-value attitude to their health is relevant throughout the entire existence of mankind. For decades, sufficient attention has been paid to studying the effect of physical activity on the human body. Everyone knows that physical activity is necessary for any person, since without them metabolic processes slow down, the body begins to experience a lack of oxygen, the functioning of many organs worsens, the general endurance of the body decreases, immunity weakens, the body loses its aesthetic appearance, and the level of emotional and intellectual potential decreases . All this happens due to the fact that for thousands of years a person has been engaged in physical labor in order to survive. Over time, the body has evolved, and now cannot do without certain physical exertion. In the modern world, all people are too busy, everyone is running somewhere, in a hurry, have no time to do anything. Some, on the contrary, are lazy, and do not want to do anything, do not go anywhere, do not notice anything around them. And what can we say about students who spend whole days studying, working, and someone just does not want to study or work at all. In all these cases, we can understand that a person does not pay due attention to his health and sports. It is necessary to at least briefly stop this rhythm of life and think about your health, because health is our life!

Keywords: physical education, healthy lifestyle, fitness and health motivation, physical activity.
