Abstract. The article deals with topical issues of transformation of the modern educational process, generating stricter requirements for teacher training. The author reveals the role of attractiveness of work in school, the level of relations in the teaching staff and the attitude to the school leadership as a condition for organizing an effective educational process. The positive attitude of the teaching staff to the profession and colleagues is an important component of the culture of cooperation in the modern school. The purpose of this study was to assess the attitude of the teaching staff to the profession and colleagues as a context of pedagogical activity. Methodology the study presented a questionnaire conducted on simplified illustrating the method and asking the respondents to assess the attractiveness of work at school (the General mood), relationships in the teaching team, relationship with the school, frequency of attendance colleagues, the frequency of requests for assistance (advice) to the head of the bloc, the frequency of calls to colleagues for a professional with the Board in a difficult situation, the estimated rating himself in the team. Statistical processing of the results was carried out on the basis of the correlation analysis method using the StatPlus LE program. As our study has shown, teachers ‘ positive attitude to work is often weakly mediated by their professional activities. Taking into account the results of correlation analysis, it can be noted that a positive relationship with management does not determine a positive attitude to work. Rare mutual visits (at least once a month) correlate with rare requests for help to the head of the method (at least once a month). Positive relationships with management are not mediated by production or other relationships. In the outlined situation, it is recommended to develop and implement a project for the introduction (development) in the school of the system of mutual visits by teachers to the lessons of their colleagues.
