Abstract. The article discusses approaches to understanding moral and legal education, the features of student’s professional training of a pedagogical university and the need to form moral and legal values ​​in them highlighted. The results of studies of the moral and legal component of education at a pedagogical university are presented. The ways to implement the moral and legal education of future teachers revealed, which will help improve their training.
