EDUCATION OF PATIENCE AND TOLERANCE AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM

Abstract. The relevance of the study is due to the interest of the pedagogical community to the problems of education of children with different personal characteristics (aggressiveness, irritability, etc.), to identify ways to assist them in the process of their individual and social development. In this regard, this article is aimed at revealing the theoretical foundations and practical mechanisms of the development of patience as a volitional quality of adolescents in the context of pedagogy of consciousness. The leading approaches to the study of this problem are axiological, esoteric, activity approaches that allow to consider the problem of patience in the pedagogy of consciousness. The article presents the essence and content of the concept of “patience”, “tolerance” as “volitional quality” in psychological and pedagogical literature and pedagogy of consciousness, the essence and content of the concept of “patience”, the theoretical foundations of its development in the pedagogy of consciousness and methods of their development identified in the course of empirical research. The materials of the article are of practical value for researchers of problems of education, students, teachers of schools.
