Abstract. The subject of the study is the internal affairs bodies in the context of ensuring food security of Russia in the field of import substitution.  The object of the study is judicial accounting expertise.  The author examines in detail such aspects of the topic as methods of conducting forensic economic expertise in the context of ensuring food security of Russia in the field of import substitution.  Scientific novelty is to pay attention to the activities of forensic units of the internal affairs bodies in the investigation of economic offenses related to the neutralization of threats to food security.
