THE CONTENT OF SECONDARY GENERAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE TRAINING OF SKILLED WORKERS AND MID-LEVEL PROFESSIONALS: PAST AND PRESENT

 Abstract. The article highlights the importance of secondary general education in the training of skilled workers and middle-level specialists, highlights the legislative and regulatory framework that regulates organizational and content aspects, analyzes the problems of teachers and students. The interrelation between federal state educational standards of general education and vocational education is shown in the selection and implementation of the content of secondary general education within the limits of the development of professional educational programs on the basis of basic general education – programs for the training of skilled workers and employees (PTSWE), mid-level training programs (MLTP). The author emphasizes that the development of students of PPCDS, PPSSS on the basis of basic general education with simultaneous acquisition of secondary general education does not mean automatic receipt of a certificate of secondary general education by students. In accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On Education in the Russian Federation”, students who have completed secondary vocational education have the right to pass the state final certification (GIA), which completes the development of educational programs for secondary general education.
