Annotation. The article deals with the problem of manifestation of the phenomenon of emotional burnout at teachers and university teachers. The authors consider this syndrome using the comparative analysis of teachers and teachers of a foreign language. In the work, the phases and levels of symptoms of emotional burnout in the pedagogical environment are studied experimentally. Behavior strategies that lead to emotional burnout, receptions and reduction mechanisms that have constructive and destructive forms are considered. The article contains a number of recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life and health of teachers and teachers of the university. The study notes that emotional burnout refers to psychosocial professional chronic fatigue (emotional and physical). Burnout syndrome is a violation of the balance between work and life, desires and needs. This aspect draws attention to the group and individual corrective psychological and medical work with school teachers and teachers of the university on overcoming them syndrome of emotional burnout.
